Will they be the first Pokemon you see? Are they Common, Uncommon, Rare, etc? I think this information would help a LOT of people come up with more efficient strategies for catching these Pokemon.
Please share if you know anything! Shine Psyched Up Staff member. I don't know about the pattern, but they are quite easy to find, actually. Use the repel, and search the grass. If the repel runs out and you haven't found the Beast, go to Celadon, use repel, return to the grass and search again, and keep doing it until you find the Beast.
Throw your Masterball, and it's yours. I've been doing something similar with Pallet Town and Route 21, but I hadn't thought of using Repels Thanks for the tip!
Some answers to my own questions, now that I've caught my Entei: 1 The pattern is totally random, as far as I was able to tell while tracking Entei's location via pokedex. It changes every time you exit an area, but does NOT change when you enter a battle with another Pokemon. Even without using repels, it never took me more than 7 tries to find one. Charlie Well-Known Member. Not sure about FrLg, but in GSC everytime you changed a location, it would move from the route it was to an adjacent route.
Blurrz Oil Country 4 Life. My oh my, I can't find Entei and it's absolutely ticking me off. Does Max Repel work just as good as Repel? Ammako Well-Known Member. Max repel is the same as a normal repel, so yes, it does. Shiny qwilfish of doom Back in White. Super Mod. The best trick. Prepare your Masterball 2. Get a level poke. Roamers that do not have any paths defined specifically for them will use the default paths mentioned above. If the roamer has its own roaming paths, they should be laid out as in the example above.
You can use unique paths to make sure a roamer will appear only where you want it to, e. It is recommended that you do this if you have multiple regions , to make sure the roamer stays in the intended region. Roamers cannot move to the last 2 maps that the player has visited not including the new map. In addition to the paths as mentioned above, there is a small chance that the roamer will go to any other map it could possibly ever visit.
If a roamer doesn't have any valid destinations, then it will remain on its current map until it can move again.
The player can only encounter one roamer per map, regardless of how many roamers are currently on that map. Tornadus B or Thundurus W will make the weather more extreme in Route 7 when entering the route. Heading towards the second house on the route will cause an old lady to come out and pull the player in.
She will then recite the story of either Tornadus B or Thundurus W. Bulletin boards can be considered somewhat inferior to the tracking methods of previous generations, as, unlike Generation IV, Tornadus or Thundurus's location changes when the player exits the gate. However, as they simply cycle between three or four routes, one may continuously re-enter and exit the same gate until the route displays stormy weather. However, if the battle in the Sea Spirit's Den is fled from, the bird will begin roaming Kalos again as before.
If the player knocks any of the birds out, it respawns instantly. Page actions Article Discussion View source History. Please remember to follow the manual of style and code of conduct at all times.
